I am
cursed lucky to have a husband who is a master finder of good deals. He can get incredible things at thrift stores, garage sales, and pawn shops for pennies of what they are worth. He has found such amazing deals that those who admire this skill actually ask if they can attend his quests to learn his secret.
I, on the other hand, have no such desires and I am glad to stay behind. I am also glad to be the recipient of many of his finds--a nice bonus to having a husband with this
addiction talent. In fact, anytime I tell him I am in need of something and threaten to go buy it, there is a mad scramble on his part and within days such stated item will be at my house. Often new, still in its original box, or in near new condition.
Such was the case a few weeks before Christmas...
I told him I
wanted needed a little light-weight vacuum to clean up simple everyday messes without having to drag the monstrosity of a vacuum we currently own (the reason why I usually leave the vacuuming to Mike--which was also his rebuttal when I told him I needed this).
Well within days I had in my possession, not 1, but 3, small, compact, light-weight, vacuums.
The best part is that they are small and light enough that...I may never have to vacuum again!

Love it! Not only does Guera benefit, from the master finder: A bogen tripod top of the line, 8gb card, photo equipment... thanks!
That is so funny. I am still not sure why Mike felt the urge to buy 3 but with 3 kids I guess it works out perfectly. I wonder how long you can keep them convinced that vacuming is fun?
Hahahahah! One day I will be there way before him and I will take all the good stuff!!!!
:)
JK!
I think this is why people have children-- to grow up and do chores.
Awesome! I need some light-weight vaccums, 2 in fact. If that means I won't have to vaccum again. Can my husband shadow Mike on "His Quest". Love it. I LOVE a good deal too. Don't get him started on coupons... haha!
***We need to get together soon, call me when you have a minute.
