Time perception...

Time can be so contradictory.

Days can often seem long,
while weeks and months fly by.

In what seems like a blink of an eye,
8 months are over.

Time seems to inch by when we are suffering,

yet, it is often all we need to heal.

And while the waiting tries our patience,
with it, we often find relief.

Time has been good to this little man,

and it has been good to my finger.

And though she doesn't need me to tell her this,
(because she is taking it like a champ),

It will make Elena's broken arm better.

Lovely post. So true. I also like to ponder and wonder about time, it fascinates me and often shakes me. That last picture is sure familiar and very much related to the content of the post, time will heal that as well. I love little Mike! SO cute! It's incredible it has been 8 months. They are so happy to grow...and we are happy with them but they'll never remember, they'll never know really what we cherish so much: their first year and the sweetness of the "infant" stage.

I am glad your finger is all better.

It is funny how different each child is both of Stacie's girls walked at 9 months. What happened to Elena's arm, I must have missed a blog, hope she feels better soon. Hey your finger looks great....good medical care hey Mike! Sure miss you guys, hope all is well. Say hello to your Joel and Joanne and Iz. Love you guys,
